ABOUT
PITCHER
Mary graduated in 2020 from Blue Ridge High School in Greer, SC. She is a right handed pitcher with great movement and speed in the 60s. She has been highly effective for all of her pitches by disrupting hitters with her mix of speed, movement, & placement. She works very well under pressure and excels when the weight is put on her shoulders to shut down the offense. Mary throws a consistent change-up, curveball, screwball, dropball, offspeed, fastball and riseball. She throws in the Mid-60s.
Mary has been an 'A' level bracket pitcher since 10u, and a lot of that is attributed to her continual hard workouts. Year after year she has been one of the top pitching prospects in the State of South Carolina.
She has been honored for many accomplishments, and led teams to the USA Nationals twice.
In her 2020 senior year of high school she was ranked 4th in ERA for all divisions in the state of South Carolina (according to MaxPreps).
HITTER
Offensively Mary is a consistent line-drive hitter with home-run hitting ability, and moves runners around the bases. In her 2020 senior year of high school she was ranked 4th in RBIs in all divisions in the entire state of South Carolina (according to MaxPreps). She has averaged in batting at least .333 to .500 in all seasons of play.
FIELDER
Mary also has an excellent fielding glove (plays 3rd base). She has been used as a utility player for all infield
positions except catcher. In her 2019 High School season she was awarded the team Defensive MVP award.
STUDENT
Mary is very focused on her studies and is majoring in Elementary Education. Mary is also involved in
several community service opportunities, and in Christian Ministries.
COACHING
Mary is in her fifth year of coaching fastpitch travel ball. Currently with the Carolina Thunder organization.
She also conducts multiple softball clinics throughout the year.
2024 Spring season she coached Brookland-Cayce High School softball team.

Mary's primary position is pitcher. While she is small in stature (5'6"), she is big in HEART. She can play other positions but excels at pitching. She works constantly on her game to improve her movement and velocity. She throws all pitches with curve, screw and drop all working effectively. She is working to improve her rise-ball which is very good but inconsistent at this time. Her best pitch is her change-up. Mary throws in the low 60s so her change up makes her very effective."
